As the world continues to grapple with the challenge of containing the spread of Covid-19 pandemic and subsequently minimizing its impact on population and economy, many countries are using drones to assist in Covid-19 response. Consequently, we have observed drones being used by first responders for multiple applications such as monitoring and crowd control, broadcasting messages to the public, decontamination, carrying emergency medical and quarantine supplies etc. We have also witnessed increasing use of drones by our police forces across states mostly to enforce lockdown and mitigate the spread of the virus.
